MAD GAB Game Puts Twist on Common Words

We recently acquired the game Mad Gab - which we had been looking for since last year, half-heartedly. Of course it is only one of those things we think about when the holidays come around, but this year the kids found one. It's a great game - if you can handle people laughing at you, since most of what you say out loud will sound rediculous! It's kind of one of those "sounds like . . . " games that were so popular in the '80s, but without drawing or acting out hints. It's great to listen to people try to put together the words they see and try to hear themselves say something totally different!

Here's an example - say it out loud: Eek Whole Eye Back Teary Aah
You may have to say it out loud a few times, and yes - you will sound silly! Do you hear yourself saying "E. Coli Bacteria"? Well that's the answer.

If you say it outloud enough, you may hear that you're saying "Sheryl Crow".
